Below is a long winded answer the the above question if you can spare ~3 minutes to read it 🙂

One of the most stressful periods of my life was going through the 20+ interviews (after University) and failing again and again. I had to change my mindset to deal with all the setbacks otherwise I would have given up. A large contribution to breaking this endless cycle and finally getting into a worthwhile career was to seek out experienced advice to discover where I was going wrong. Once I finally took the step of getting expert help, I was successful in my very next interview (Alhamdulilah) and am now currently enjoying a worthwhile career.

I learnt through my painful experiences what are the dos and don’ts for CV,  interviews and career progression. Also, what mindset needs to be adopted when pursuing your career.

I’ve now worked around 8+ years in a professional environment while comfortably meeting all my religious obligations as a Muslim (Along with my company paying for my Masters and currently putting me on leadership training courses. They also allowed me to design prayer room facilities at work).

During these 8 years, I’ve successfully helped family and friends find their feet in a career on an adhoc and voluntary basis. I am now ready to formally help others.

Throughout my career, I’ve interviewed many graduates (With Masters and PhDs) through their technical presentations and interviewed at Graduate and Apprentice assessment centers. I’ve also delivered presentations at different universities on how to pass a Graduate scheme. I’ve also interviewed many teachers for a madrassah I’m very blessed to support. I’ve been fortunate to also coach and mentor around 10+ Graduates, Under-Graduates, Apprentices and experienced hires through their training periods.

With this wealth of experience and reading many books / theories on pursuing careers, CV writing and interview preparation, I am in a very strong position to help anyone to start their first steps or progress their individual careers. I’ve just recently applied all of this to get my own promotion at work – a 37% payrise Alhamdulilah 🙂
